DESCRIPTION
This project was my first exploration into the world of Visual Effects in Unreal Engine 5. Using a combination of material transitions and Niagara FX, I created a short render that captures the character of a hermit crab that has the ability to harden its shell and change its form. I mainly used Quixel Megascans for the environment, Water Materials by tharlevfx on from the Unreal Marketplace, and Hermit Crab by Nathaniel from Sketchfab
